Terms of service

The rules, in plain language

CSRadar analyses publicly available Steam profile data and, where a FACEIT data key is configured, public FACEIT profile data, to suggest which other accounts may belong to the same player. These terms explain what the service does, what its results mean, and what you may not do with them.

Last updated: 11 October 2026

1. What results mean - and what they do not

Every result on CSRadar is a statistical hint built from public signals: shared friends, groups, names, profile pictures and play-time patterns. Scores and tier labels describe how strongly those signals line up. They are not facts about people, and they are not verified identities.

A ban, VAC or game ban, or a FACEIT ban on one account is not proof that the account belongs to any particular person, and never proof that two accounts share an owner. Where CSRadar shows a suspected link, the evidence behind it is shown on the same page so you can judge it yourself.

Probabilities shown by the service are heuristic rankings produced by fixed rules, not calibrated statistics, and they can be wrong. Treat every result as a starting point for your own verification, never as a verdict.

CSRadar may process publicly available gameplay-related information about registered and non-registered players, including match participation, observed lobby presence, and public Steam or FACEIT metadata. Public availability does not by itself make information non-personal or mean that a non-registered player has agreed to its use. The Privacy Notice explains the purposes, legal bases, retention, and rights that apply to this processing.

2. Acceptable use and age eligibility

Age requirement: You must be at least 13 years of age (or the applicable age of digital consent required in your jurisdiction, including 16 years of age in applicable European Union member states pursuant to GDPR Article 8) to access CSRadar, initiate scans, or authenticate via Steam. By accessing the service, you represent and warrant that you satisfy these statutory age requirements.

You agree not to use CSRadar to:

  • harass, threaten, dox or scapegoat any player. A listed account is a data point about a Steam profile, not an accusation against a human being, and acting on it against a person is entirely your responsibility and outside the purpose of this service;
  • automate access to the site beyond the published public interfaces, or resell or redistribute bulk outputs of the service;
  • circumvent rate limits, quotas or abuse controls, or submit content through the contact channels that is unlawful, or that impersonates our staff or domains;
  • present CSRadar results to any third party - a tournament organiser, a team, a platform - as proof that a specific person owns a specific account.

We may rate-limit, block or refuse service to traffic that breaks these rules.

3. Accounts, subscriptions, and billing terms

Core profile lookups and basic scan summaries are accessible without an account. Authenticating via Steam creates an account session to enable your personal dashboard, search history, custom watchlists, and automated alerts. Steam sign-in operates strictly via Valve's OpenID protocol and never grants CSRadar access to your Steam password, credentials, or account management capabilities.

Free and Pro subscription tiers

CSRadar offers free access to fundamental player analysis tools alongside optional premium features under the CSRadar Pro subscription (including priority queueing, deep cluster mapping, encounter memory, and an ad-free interface). Pricing and plan details are published transparently on our Pricing page.

Payment processing, recurring billing, and cancellation

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) according to your chosen plan. Payments are processed securely through authorized Merchant of Record and payment gateway partners. By initiating a subscription, you authorize recurring billing to your designated payment method until cancellation.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Upon cancellation, your Pro entitlements remain active through the conclusion of your current prepaid billing cycle, after which your account automatically transitions to the Free tier with no further charges.

Refunds and statutory right of withdrawal

In accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights and applicable distance selling regulations, Consumers may have a statutory withdrawal period for distance contracts. Requesting immediate access does not by itself waive those rights. If you withdraw after requesting early performance, a proportionate charge may apply where the law permits. Any loss of a withdrawal right requires the conditions and confirmations set by applicable law; CSRadar does not make a blanket waiver. Non-statutory refunds are assessed under the applicable terms and consumer rules.

4. Availability, third-party platform actions, and no warranty

The service is provided as is, with no warranty of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. Data sources we depend on - Steam, FACEIT where used, hosting, email - can fail, change or disappear without notice, and scan results can be wrong in both directions.

Third-party platform actions and anti-cheat independence: CSRadar operates separately from the Counter-Strike 2 client and uses public web APIs and user-submitted demo files. It does not inject code into game memory, modify game files, or send game-manipulating network packets. Valve, FACEIT, and other publishers make their own account and enforcement decisions, which CSRadar does not control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for CSRadar's own acts or omissions where that liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

Third-party data availability: CSRadar relies on public endpoints operated by third parties, including the Valve Steam Web API and FACEIT API. Those providers may change, limit, or discontinue their endpoints, which can make results delayed, incomplete, or unavailable. We do not guarantee the continued availability of a third-party endpoint. This does not automatically classify an outage as force majeure or limit any consumer right or liability that applicable law makes mandatory.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for decisions you make based on CSRadar output, including moderation, competitive or social actions taken against players identified in reports.

5. Intellectual property, trademarks and API compliance

The CSRadar name, logo, visual design, custom analysis algorithms, scoring weights, and software belong to the operator.

Counter-Strike, Counter-Strike 2, CS2, CS:GO, Valve, the Valve logo, Steam, and the Steam logo are trademarks and/or registered trademarks of Valve Corporation in the U.S. and/or other countries. FACEIT and the FACEIT logo are registered trademarks of FACEIT Ltd. All other trademarks, product names, logos, and brands cited on this website are the property of their respective owners.

CSRadar is an independent player intelligence service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, maintained, authorized, or sponsored by Valve Corporation or FACEIT. Neither company reviews, moderates, or certifies the results shown on profile pages.

Public profile data accessed via the Steam Web API and community endpoints is retrieved in compliance with platform terms and rate limits. CSRadar does not sell raw API data or offer bulk data redistribution.

CSRadar respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used or displayed on CSRadar in a manner that constitutes infringement, send a report through the project contact at [email protected] or via the contact form (selecting the privacy topic). Include a way to contact you, the work concerned, the exact page or URL, and why you believe its use is unauthorized. The operator will review the report under applicable law.

7. Disputes and corrections

If a report wrongly links your accounts, or you believe a result is wrong, you can dispute it through the [email protected] with the SteamID in question and what you believe is inaccurate; evidence disputes are treated as data subject requests, and the process - including response times - is described on the privacy page. You can also request deletion of a report at any time, without giving a reason.

Vote buttons on profile pages feed reported errors back into the scoring rules and are reviewed, but a vote is not a support ticket; use the dispute channel when you need a written answer.

8. Operator, governing law, and legal requests

CSRadar's configured operator is CSRadar. These Terms of Service are interpreted in accordance with internationally recognized digital consumer protection principles and applicable data privacy standards, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Mandatory consumer rights provided by the laws of your jurisdiction remain unaffected. Any formal legal inquiry or statutory notice should use the privacy contact details listed on this site. Where the operator identity, address or monitored contact is not configured, this build is not ready for public launch.

Law enforcement and statutory inquiries: CSRadar complies with legally binding requests from competent authorities where applicable law requires it. Requests are reviewed for authority and scope; informal or unverified requests are not treated as binding orders.

Modifications to Terms, service evolution, and re-acceptance procedure

CSRadar may update these documents only for a valid reason, such as a change in applicable law or authoritative guidance, a necessary security or anti-abuse measure, a material technical or service change, or a change to a third-party platform or API on which a feature depends. We will explain the reason for a material change in its notice.

Notice and re-acceptance standards: For a material change to subscription terms, core obligations, or data handling, CSRadar will give registered account holders at least 30 days' advance notice by email or a prominent notice in the service, with the effective date and a summary of the change. A material change that requires agreement will be presented for affirmative acceptance at sign-in before it applies to your account. Non-material editorial corrections that do not change rights, obligations, or data handling may take effect when published with an updated “Last updated” date.

If you do not accept: You may stop using CSRadar and cancel a recurring Pro subscription without a penalty caused by the change. Any refund, withdrawal, termination, or other rights provided by applicable law remain available. Continued use alone is not treated as affirmative acceptance of a material change.

9. Advertising, sponsorship, and prohibited content policy

CSRadar maintains a rigorous, first-party advertising ecosystem to ensure user safety, platform integrity, and strict compliance with statutory legislation governing commercial promotions, games of chance, and digital gaming.

Statutory gambling and betting prohibitions

Advertisements, sponsorships, creative banners, and destination URLs promoting unlicensed gambling, sports betting, games of chance, or virtual item wagering (including CS2/CS:GO skin roulette, case openings, crash, or coinflip platforms) are strictly prohibited and barred from display in jurisdictions where such promotions violate applicable legislation:

  • Republic of Turkey (Türkiye): In accordance with Law No. 7258 on the Regulation of Betting and Games of Chance in Football and Other Sports Competitions (Article 5/1-ç), the Turkish Penal Code (Article 228), and Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection (Article 61), promoting, advertising, or encouraging unauthorized betting, gambling, or skin-wagering is strictly barred. Advertisements featuring gambling or betting will under no circumstances be served to visitors originating from Turkey.
  • Federal Republic of Germany (Deutschland): In accordance with the Interstate Treaty on Gambling 2021 (Glücksspielstaatsvertrag 2021 - GlüStV 2021 § 5) and guidelines of the Joint Gambling Authority of the Federal States (Gemeinsame Glücksspielbehörde der Länder - GGL), advertising for unauthorized gambling, unlicensed sports betting, virtual casino games, and unregulated skin/item wagering is prohibited. Delivery of such campaigns is blocked for German visitors.
  • Worldwide Campaigns & Automated Geographic Suppression: All commercial campaigns configured for “worldwide” reach are subject to automated category analysis. Even where a partner selects global targeting, algorithmic and geographic suppression is enforced automatically: users in restricted territories (such as Turkey and Germany) are shielded from non-compliant advertising.

Automated pre-screening, destination analysis, and sponsor rectification

Every submitted creative asset, banner copy, call-to-action, and destination URL undergoes automated safety scanning and compliance inspection prior to delivery.

  • Independent link verification: Both the banner creative and the destination link must independently satisfy compliance standards. If an advertiser uploads a non-gambling banner but the destination link leads or redirects to a gambling or skin-roulette site, the campaign remains barred in restricted jurisdictions.
  • Rectification standard: An advertiser whose campaign is flagged may update their materials to compliant non-gambling offerings (such as verified peer-to-peer skin trading marketplaces, esports analytics, hardware, or coaching platforms). Once both the banner asset and destination URL are cleared of gambling signals, delivery restrictions are lifted accordingly.
  • Prohibition of cloaking: Cloaking, deceptive redirects, URL shorteners concealing destination intent, or post-approval alteration of destination landing page content constitutes a material breach and will result in immediate, permanent revocation of partner access.

10. Community sentiment and match analytics

Community feedback, tags, and peer reputation scores (+rep and −rep) reflect the personal, subjective impressions of community participants. They are mathematically decoupled from anti-cheat determinations and do not represent authoritative factual statements by CSRadar.

Match telemetry, coaching leaks, and performance scorecard rankings are derived deterministically from public match replays (.dem files) for personal player self-improvement and competitive entertainment. They do not constitute official cheat investigations or professional endorsements.

Do not use reports or community ratings to harass, threaten, dox, or publish private information about a player. Findings do not establish identity or wrongdoing. A person may use the dispute channels described in Section 7 to challenge a report. Nothing in these Terms waives rights or claims that cannot be waived under applicable law.

11. Limitation of liability, indemnification, and severability

Cap on liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall CSRadar, its individual operators, contributors, or infrastructure providers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, gaming accounts, tournament eligibility, or reputational harm. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights and liability for matters for which a liability cap is prohibited.

User indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CSRadar and its operators from and against any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service, harassment of identified players, or violation of these terms.

Collective and representative procedures: Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from bringing or joining an individual claim or participating in a collective or representative procedure where applicable law permits, including a representative action brought by a qualified entity under Directive (EU) 2020/1828. Any dispute-resolution term remains subject to mandatory consumer rights and applicable law.

Severability: If any provision of these terms is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
