What a ranking means
A high position means an account has many other accounts that public data links to it - shared friends, overlapping Faceit teams, matching name patterns or activity windows. It is a statement about graph connectivity, not about a person, and a private friend list can both hide a link and create an accidental one. Steam also never discloses which game a VAC ban came from.
